Yokohama

From everything we had heard and read about, pollution should have been an overwhelming first impression in this enormous city. But to our pleasant surprise, we have been greeted by crisp clean air and blue sky. The city is so clean, it is unbelievable; no candy wrappers in the streets, no train tickets on the ground in the metro stations, no bad smell, etc... Considering that Tokyo/Yokohama, is the largest city in the world, it is quite impressive.

D'apres ce que nous croyions savoir sur le Japon, nous nous attendions a une pollution ecrasante. Mais a notre agreable surprise, nous avons ete accueillis par un air clair et propre. La ville est tellement propre, c'est incroyable: pas de dechets dans les rues, pas de billets de metros par terre dans les stations, pas de mauvaise odeur, etc. Quand on considere que Tokyo/Yokohama est la plus grande metropole au monde, c'est pas mal impressionant!
