Rome is an interesting juxtaposition of ruins of different time periods, Romans to Middle Ages along with the 19th and 20th centuries buildings and monuments, all side by side. There is the problem of how do you keep the ruins from deteriorating more and restore them to how they once were without compromising the original construction. It must be interesting to grow up in proximity with history.
Rome est une interessante juxtaposition de ruines de differentes epoques. Les batiments du temps des Romains, du moyen age, des 19 et 20eme siecles, sont les uns a cote des autres.
