After l'Ascencion, we left Sébastien in Toulouse where he had to go back to work, and Loïc Josianne Terry and I rented bicycles from the city and followed the 16th century canal du midi all the 104 km to Carcassonne. We stopped for a night in Villepinte after a typical cassoulet dinner in Castelnaudary. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful of citadel of Carcassonne again, and took the train back to Toulouse.
Après l'ascension, nous avons laissé Sébastien à Toulouse où il a repris le boulot, et Loïc Josianne Terry et moi avons loué des vélos de la ville pour suivre le canal du midi pendant 104 kms jusqu'à Carcassonne, en nous arrêtant pour la nuit a Villepinte, après avoir mangé un délicieux cassoulet à Castelnaudary. Nous avons revu la citadelle avec plaisir, et sommes rentrés à Toulouse en train.
